Today, I visited a local food bank of Kamloops and watched the storage of food bank. There are sorting units, counters to pass food, and a big storage to keep food containers. In the storage, I challenged making a food pac to charity with a list and found it difficult to make sure that every item in the bag. By attending the food bank, I understand charity is important to reduce poverty and we have to archive this goal step by step. James told me that staff sort the food all the day and it is crazy. I surprised to hear that because it must be not so interesting works. Through the sorting food is a little step, it definitely helps people in poverty.
